It is my hope is that this new tool will help us promote our clubs, events and most importantly, the Appaloosa….our Breed of Choice!

There are more than 130 regional clubs nationwide. Your regional clubs are officially recognized representatives of the Appaloosa Horse Club. You are valued groups of people who get together for the common purpose of riding and being involved with Appaloosas. Your clubs have a wide variety of interests including showing, trail riding, riding in parades and participating in the many disciplines in which the versatile Appaloosa horse excels.

Regional Clubs do an excellent job of promoting interest in Appaloosas at the local levels. Not only do you promote Appaloosas at the local and regional level, you create opportunities for owners to gain the most possible enjoyment from their Appaloosa. You know that one of the best ways to retain the interest and keep attitudes positive is to provide a variety of activities. Having fun and promoting the Appaloosa horse is your prime objective.

Let’s tell the world why Appaloosas are The Breed of Choice! And show every equine enthusiast why it is so much to Get Spotted on an Appaloosa!

Please send your items of interest (news, events and success stories and pictures) to regionalclubs@appaloosa.com

One Response to “Welcome to the newest online resource for the Appaloosa Industry – the ApHC Regional Club Blog!”
  1. Well, it looks like I might be the 1st to post something on this. It’s been quite a while since I’ve visited the ApHC website and I think this is a wonderfu idea. So, I’m going to put in a plug for our upcoming show in August.

Southern California ApHC will be holding their annual Appaloosa show on August 8th and 9th at the beautiful Industry Hills Expo Center in the City of Industry, CA.

We offer 14 High-Point Awards derived from 140 classes consisting of Halter, English, Western, Reining, Heritage, Jumping and Games. The judges consist of Whizzer Baker, Dawn Frye, Sherry Haynes and Michael Short. We will be holding our 3rd annual Gift Basket Silent Auction. The basket’s just keep getting better and better each year. There’s always lots of fun at the deadline for the final bids.

We will be offering a Wine and Cheese party on Saturday night with a special event sure to invoke tons of fun.

Our show is also the third and final show of the “Strike It Rich” Circuit where over $5,000.00 will be awarded to exhibitors from all three shows.

For more information contact me at scac.sheila@earthlink.net or 909-938-5098.

Hope to see you while we show off our beautiful spots!!!!!
